Senecayuga Properties, LLC was founded by broker/owner Mel Russo on February 9, of 1990 with the specific intent of specializing in real estate around Cayuga and Seneca Lakes. These are the two largest, deepest, and most central Finger Lakes of Upstate New York. Because of this, Senecayuga has developed the most unique and powerful marketing campaign in the Upstate area. The company now lists and sells all kinds of real estate including waterfront, village, country, farm, investment, and commercial properties.

In order to best service buyers, as well as market and sell these types of listings, Senecayuga Properties, LLC participates in the four multiple listing services (MLS) that surround Seneca and Cayuga Lakes. These systems are: Greater Rochester, Greater Syracuse, Ithaca, and Elmira-Corning MLS. Unlike city or county systems, the MLS regions greatly overlap each other in large areas thereby making it difficult to search and market properties in the central Finger Lakes unless you belong to all four systems.
